We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Manager – Accounting & Tax to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in accounting and taxation, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards, along with proven experience in supervising accounting teams and driving high-quality financial reporting.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, reviewing team outputs, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting and tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports in compliance with applicable IFRS & IAS standards.
- Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management review
- Supervising and mentoring accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to internal controls
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or any other related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience including Audit
- Strong Knowledge in applying IFRS standards.
- A professional certification such as ACCA, CPA CMA or CFA.
Nice to have
- Experience in using ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo.
- Additional languages
- Knowledge of data analysis or visualization tools like PowerBi.
